These terms apply to your use of Bimmer Society and purchases through our Shopify checkout. Bimmer Society is a US online store for aftermarket performance and replacement parts for BMW vehicles, with orders fulfilled by partner warehouses. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Using the site

Use the site lawfully and provide accurate information when signing up, contacting us, or ordering. Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use the assistant to obtain private information or bypass its safeguards. You must be legally able to enter into a purchase agreement to place an order.

Products & fitment

We verify the fitment data we list, but vehicle modifications, production differences, and incomplete vehicle details can affect compatibility. Owners should confirm the part number, vehicle configuration, and compatibility before installation. Product descriptions and availability may be updated when information changes.

Our Fitment Guarantee applies if a part does not fit because our fitment data was wrong: we cover return shipping and refund or exchange it, as described in our Shipping & Returns policy. Asking you to confirm compatibility does not remove that guarantee.

Pricing, errors & orders

Prices are in US dollars. Applicable taxes and any shipping charges are shown at checkout. Prices and availability may change before you place an order. Checkout and payment processing take place through Shopify.

If an item is listed with a pricing error, we may cancel the affected order and refund any payment in full. We may also cancel an order we cannot fulfill or reasonably believe is fraudulent or unlawful; any payment for a canceled order will be refunded in full. We will not substitute a different item or charge a higher corrected price without your agreement.

Fulfillment, shipping & returns

Orders ship from our partner warehouse in 2–4 business days. Orders over $49 ship free within the contiguous US. Oversized items such as exhausts may ship separately.

Uninstalled parts in original, undamaged packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Contact us to start a return. Refunds go back to your original card once inspected.

If a part does not fit because our fitment data was wrong, we cover return shipping and refund or exchange it. Every part is covered against defects for 2 years from delivery under the 2-year Society Guarantee.

If something arrives damaged or does not fit as listed, contact us within 7 days and we will make it right at no cost to you.

Our Shipping & Returns policy is part of these terms and sets out these shipping, return, and guarantee commitments. Nothing in these terms reduces those commitments or rights you have under applicable law.

Street use, emissions & installation

Some performance parts are intended for off-road or competition use and may not be legal for street use in every state. Emissions-related parts may be subject to federal and state requirements, including California Air Resources Board (CARB) requirements. A product listing or recommendation is not a statement that the part is legal for every use or location.

You are responsible for checking the laws that apply to your vehicle and intended use before purchase or installation. Do not use parts to unlawfully disable emissions controls. Installation and use are at your own risk; follow manufacturer instructions and use a qualified installer when appropriate. These responsibilities do not waive our written guarantees or your statutory rights.

A listed CARB Executive Order (EO) applies only to the vehicles, configurations, and installation conditions covered by that order; confirm those details before purchase. Parts marked not legal for California must not be sold or used there on pollution-controlled vehicles.

California Proposition 65

Some auto parts may expose you to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm. Where applicable, product pages display a Proposition 65 warning. Read product warnings and manufacturer instructions before handling or installing a part. Learn more at www.P65Warnings.ca.gov. The absence of a warning is not a guarantee that a product is free of listed chemicals.

Society Tech AI assistant

Society Tech provides general parts and fitment information, not professional mechanical, safety, or legal advice. AI responses can be incomplete or incorrect. Confirm fitment and installation requirements independently before ordering or working on a vehicle. The assistant cannot change prices or policies, create discounts, approve refunds, or make commitments on our behalf.

Warranty disclaimer

Except for our express Fitment Guarantee, 2-year Society Guarantee, other written commitments, and rights that cannot legally be excluded, the site, its content, and AI responses are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim other implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free site content.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Bimmer Society is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, such as lost profits or loss of use, arising from use of the site or products. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

These limits do not restrict our express refund, return, or guarantee obligations, or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Some states do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so those exclusions or limits may not apply to you.

Our Privacy Policy explains how signup, browser-stored, support, checkout, and assistant information is handled.

Trademarks

Bimmer Society is not affiliated with or endorsed by BMW AG. Vehicle names are used solely to describe fitment.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Updated terms apply to use of the site after that date; purchases remain subject to the terms in effect when the order was placed. We will provide additional notice where required by law.
